We’re hiring an M&A Due Diligence Associate to work on buy-side and vendor due diligence for private equity funds and corporate buyers. You’ll dig into quality of earnings, net debt and working capital, and help deal teams understand what they are really buying.
You’ll join the Financial Advisory team in New York, which works closely with Director Lucas Moreau and our Berlin and Singapore colleagues on cross-border deals. Deals move fast, teams are small and you’ll speak with clients from your first engagement.
What you’ll do
- Analyze historical financials, adjust EBITDA and prepare quality of earnings schedules.
- Review net debt, working capital and cash conversion for target companies.
- Draft sections of due diligence reports and red-flag memos under tight deadlines.
- Manage data room requests and management Q&A sessions with target companies.
- Support valuation and deal modeling work with the wider Financial Advisory team.
What we’re looking for
- 2–4 years in transaction services, audit or corporate finance.
- CPA, CFA Level II or an equivalent qualification, completed or in progress.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Advanced Excel modeling and attention to detail under time pressure.
- Clear, concise writing for senior financial readers.
