We’re looking for a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to run the bond and cash portions of our model portfolios and our separately managed Treasury ladders. Fixed income makes up between 12% and 50% of our models, and for many retirees it pays the bills.
You’ll be based in Singapore and report to Director of Investment Advisory Lucas Moreau in New York, working with a team of 4 across both offices. You’ll set duration and credit positioning within the limits agreed by the investment committee.
What you’ll do
- Manage duration, credit quality and liquidity for the fixed income sleeves of all three models.
- Build and maintain Treasury and municipal bond ladders for individual clients.
- Select and monitor bond funds and ETFs on cost, structure and tracking.
- Present positioning and risk to the monthly investment committee.
- Write the fixed income section of our quarterly client letter.
What we’re looking for
- 8+ years managing investment-grade fixed income for institutional or private clients.
- CFA charter or equivalent professional qualification.
- Deep knowledge of rates, credit and bond market structure in the US and Asia.
- Experience with risk systems and portfolio construction tools.
- Clear communication with non-specialists, including advisors and clients.

About the team
Our fixed income team is small and senior. We run conservative mandates for clients who rely on their bonds for income, so we value steady judgment over bold calls. You will work with the New York investment team daily and with the Singapore tax desk on income-focused clients.
“For a retiree the bond portfolio is the paycheck. We manage it with that in mind.”
