Building a firm where advice has to ship.
Daniel founded Corwell in 2001 and leads the firm, advising founders and boards on growth, governance and long-term strategy. He set the rule that still defines how Corwell works: no recommendation leaves the building without a delivery plan.
Before starting Corwell with two colleagues and a two-desk office on Park Avenue, Daniel spent seven years as a strategy consultant in New York and four years in investment banking in London. As CEO he has grown the firm to 320+ consultants in 18 offices, and he still leads a small number of client engagements each year — most recently the guest-experience and revenue program for Lumen Ridge Hotels.
Daniel chairs the firm’s partner committee and mentors every new partner in their first year. He is a trustee of a New York literacy charity, sails on weekends and admits to owning more books on leadership than he has finished.
