We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and build data platforms for clients in manufacturing, logistics and financial services. You’ll turn scattered ERP, CRM and spreadsheet data into reliable pipelines and models that leaders use every day.
You’ll join the Data & Analytics team led by Kenji Watanabe, working remotely from anywhere in the EU with regular trips to client sites and to our Berlin office. You’ll work on one or two client projects at a time, alongside consultants who handle the business side.
What you’ll do
- Design and build data platforms on Azure, AWS or GCP for client projects.
- Develop batch and streaming pipelines from ERP, CRM and operational systems.
- Model data in dbt and set up testing, monitoring and documentation.
- Work with consultants and client IT teams to turn business questions into data products.
- Review code, set engineering standards and mentor junior engineers.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years building production data pipelines and warehouses.
- Strong SQL and Python, and hands-on experience with dbt and Airflow or similar tools.
- Experience with at least one cloud data platform such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Databricks.
- Comfort explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical client stakeholders.
- Based in an EU country and able to travel about four days a month.

The Data & Analytics team has engineers and analysts in Singapore, Berlin and across Europe. We work in small project squads, share code through an internal library of pipeline templates and keep meetings to a minimum.
