We’re looking for an Operations Manager to lead supply-chain transformation work for manufacturers, distributors and consumer-goods companies across Germany, Austria and the Nordics.
You’ll join the Operations & Performance practice in our Berlin office and run engagements day to day — from network and inventory reviews to procurement programmes — with savings your clients’ finance teams sign off every month.
What you’ll do
- Lead supply-chain engagements day to day, managing a team of three to five advisors and the client relationship.
- Diagnose network, inventory and procurement performance and size the savings opportunity.
- Design and pilot new planning, sourcing and warehouse processes with client managers on site.
- Track savings and service levels monthly and report progress to steering committees.
- Support partners on proposals and develop our supply-chain methods and benchmarks.
What we’re looking for
- 6–9 years in operations consulting or supply-chain leadership in industry.
- Hands-on experience in S&OP, inventory optimisation or strategic sourcing.
- Experience managing teams and presenting to senior client stakeholders.
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
- A degree in engineering, business or a related field.

What you’ll get
About the team
The Berlin operations team is a mix of former plant managers, supply-chain planners and consultants. We spend much of our time on client sites, so you’ll know the warehouse as well as the board pack. Projects typically run four to nine months with teams of three to six.
“A supply-chain saving only counts when the planner on the night shift can explain why it works.”
